On December 14th, 2017 ICM hosted their annual holiday party and teamed up with HomeAid in an effort to collect diapers and blankets for those in need this Holiday Season.
HomeAid Northern Virginia is a successful and dynamic non-profit that builds and renovates housing and shelter facilities for the organizations that own or operate them. A typical baby needs 10-12 diapers a day, and toddlers need approximately 8 diapers. But because diapers are not covered by social welfare systems like WIC or food stamps, and are considered “hygiene items,” 36 percent of mothers living in poverty regularly run out of clean diapers for their infant.
We are so incredibly proud of our staff and guests for their generosity!
